Survey: Journalism education in Albania

This study presents the perceptions of students pursuing journalism studies in Albania before they worked in the newsrooms. The data used here are based on a survey compiled in the frame of the International Survey on Journalism Studies around the Globe. It highlights the main problems that journalism faces, according to the students, and the research required to resolve any such problems. An extensive survey conducted with 465 students tries to find answers to questions such as how do students of journalism rate their profession, their role in society and work practice, and what are some of the perceived threats to their profession?
