The Institute for Democracy, Media and Culture organized the Inauguration Ceremony of the exhibition "On Behalf of America" on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the departure of the American mission from Albania, in November 1946.

The exhibition sheds light on the Albanian-American relations during the communist regime, on the American enemy and presents new data on the events and people of the time who suffered from that regime. The ceremony was greeted live from "Skanderbeg" Square where the exhibition is located, also by the Ambassador of the United Nations of America, Mrs. Yuri Kim.

The US Ambassador, Mrs. Yuri Kim said:

"The communists did not only want to close the country physically, but also spiritually. It is important to remember all these people who were persecuted, executed, all the horrors that these people have gone through, to remember those men and women."
