The program included various lecturers from the German-Polish past history to contemporary relations combined with study visits to sites of memory in Poland and Germany. The seminar focused on the people as the key factor in the process of reconciliation. As such reconciliation needs a fundamental change in the way people in the WB think of each other. At this point, non-governmental institutions in the WB should implement more creative projects to grab the attention of their respective societies, in particular projects focusing on enhancing youth cooperation in the WB.

Among other it was discussed for future collaboration between IDMC and other institutions working in the field of memory which were represented in the seminar.
