my European dream

Young Albanians challenge Brexit

Published on

At a time when the United Kingdom is leaving the European Union, Albanian youth are challenging this reality. They believe in European values and want to give a message to Albania and the EU. In one minute they will say it all.

  • First, they believe these values – respect for human dignity, human rights, freedom, consolidated democracy, equality and rule of law – should be further endorsed by Albania as it commits to the path towards the EU.
  • Second, the EU should make sure its values are ingrained in Albanian young people, the future generation who believes in the Union and has a clear European dream.
  • Third, young people have a common message for Albania and the EU: "Promoting European values and optimism that the values will be absorbed by Albania would help increase youth interest to contribute more in their country and prevent brain drain in the long-term."
  • Finally, by working reflectively on multimedia projects no longer than 1 minute, in promoting European values, young people are raising awareness of the other young fellows and society.

The best such videos will be published on 28 February 2020.
