"The Fall of a Dictator" presented in Berat
IDMC presented at the "Drita e Dijes" non-public school in Berat the latest exhibition of the Institute, "The Fall of a Dictator", which was inaugurated for the first time during MEMORY DAYS 2021.
IDMC Director Jonila Godole held a conversation with the young participants on dictatorship and democracy. It gave young people the message of resistance for a better future.
"Just as others have resisted and sacrificed for us before, to live in democracy today, so we must work to improve our lives."
One of the authors of the exhibition, the historian Brisejda Lala, was present and introduced the young people with details and curiosities about the theme of the exhibition "30 years since the fall of the monument of the former dictator Hoxha".
IDMC thanks the school staff for their commitment to quality education of Albanian youth, linking books with concrete examples and cultural activities from IDMC. The exhibition will stay for days on end in the school premises being visited by +300 current students.
