Dr. Jonila Godole receives Federal Cross of Merit

The Institute for Democracy, Media & Culture is grateful to the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, for bestowing on Dr. Jonila Godole the Federal Cross of Merit. We are also kindly grateful to the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Albania, Peter Zingraf, for presenting the award. Ambassador Zingraf valued Dr. Godole's outstanding achievements as an intellectual in the cultural, civic and especially the preservation of historical memory.

This motivates us further as an institution to continue our work on raising awareness among the younger generation and the consequences of dictatorship on all of Albanian society.
